Professional training

 

Professional training in the field is organized in the framework of study centers. The study centers focus on various spheres of social work according to populations and/or unique problems.

Each study center is managed by a coordinator, together with a team of counsellors.

Field work has three components:

1. Practical work, within the framework of the training site to which the student has been assigned;
2. Individual guidance at the training sites or at the university, in coordination with the counsellor;
3. A bi-weekly or monthly workshop for all students at the learning center, given by the coordinator.

Participation is compulsory—the grade “active participation” is a condition for a passing grade in practical training.
